Social Media were hit with a funeral poster, advertising the death of the popular Ghanaian actor.
Though called Sekyere Amankwah the poster has the name Akwasi Mensah and this got Ghanaians to ask questions.
Below is an audio recording of the actor posted by Atinkanew, Amankwah has indicated that he is neither dead and nor even sick as being rumoured.
He was speaking to colleague actor, Joe Shortingo on phone that he is currently on a location filming a new TV series.
Amankwah wondered why people would assume he is dead when no one has heard of him being sick or suffering any ailment.
He asked Shortingo, who had called to check it if the rumours were true, to disregard them and also thanked him for seeing the need to find out for himself.
