Sorry Bro – Samini Stopped By Bodyguards From Raising Akufo-Addo’s Hand – Video Is Trending. Reggae & Dancehall artist Samini is trending on social media after trying to raise President Akufo-Addo’s hand at a rally.
The New Patriotic Party on Saturday held a final rally to climax its campaign activities for the 2020 general elections in the Odododiodio constituency.
Samini performed at the event and when Akufo-Addo appeared on stage, the singer attempted to lift the hand of the president to the view of the thousands of supporters who were present.
He was however prevented from getting hold of the president by his security personnel who were standing right behind the president on stage.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media attracting several reactions.
While some chastised Samini for his gesture, others feel the boydguards of the president overreacted.
